Who it's forHelicopters

Helicopter operators: talk to us first.

WingsPath tracks hours, cycles and calendar limits for any aircraft type, but it has not yet been proven on a helicopter fleet. We would rather prove it on yours, with you, than claim it.

TALK TO US

Not a finished fit yet. Read what works and what does not, then tell us how your operation runs.

What is not built yet.

Read this first. We would rather you know before we talk.

  • WingsPath has not yet been proven on a helicopter fleet. The AS350, common in Kenya, is where we would start.
  • There are no helicopter-specific checks yet, such as power assurance or torque events.

What works for you today.

  • Most-restrictive-limit tracking

Dates, hours, landings and cycles for any aircraft type, with an unknown shown as needing review.

  • Components and life-limited parts

Each part's history from new, including moves between aircraft.

  • Records read and indexed

Scanned logbooks and work orders read, classified and searchable.

  • Pilot records and duty limits

Licences, medicals and duty counted from signed flights.

What gets in the way.

  • Components on many clocks

Dynamic components run on hours, cycles and calendar at once, and the tightest one decides.

  • Parts that move between airframes

When a life-limited part moves, its history has to move with it.

  • Records from several shops

Overhaul records arrive from different shops, in different formats, on paper.

Questions we are asked.

Will the maintenance tracking work for our type?
It tracks any limit by date, hours, landings or cycles, and the most restrictive one wins. What we have not done yet is run a helicopter fleet through it.
How would we start?
With one aircraft's records. We load them, you compare the status with your own tracking, and we fix every difference before you rely on it.

Tell us how your operation runs.

We will say plainly what works today and what we would have to build.
